Professional Rock Stacking

Filed under: web — ted @ 3:44 pm

If you are a professional rock stacker and you’re reading this, I would like you to know that you are my inspiration.

  • Heading to church this weekend? Hopefully you won’t see one of these.
  • Chuck Norris wrote a book: it’s called The Justice Riders and it’s just as you thought it would be. In fact, you could probably have written it yourself.
  • People on Craigslist are hilarious.

  1. Wait, is that bulletin poet’s name “Randy Vader”? That fireman’s axe couldn’t be more phallic.

Rock stacking, eh? And there are people who would rather watch TV because they don’t think there are any worthwhile hobbies.

  2. And wait, did that lady really write “tranny in great shape”? How did people entertain themselves when bored at work before Craigslist?

  3. Not in agreement about rock stacking. I think it’s incredible–better than most works of art that I’ve seen recently. Did you watch Rivers and Tides?

  4. Haven’t seen the movie, I’ll add it to the ol’ que, though, if it’s worth checking out. I’m definitely not knocking rock stacking; just saying that there are some hobbies (or professions, as it were) that most of us never could’ve dreamed up on our own. And while we’re sitting on our couches watching television, we literally don’t know what we’re missing.

  5. Then I misunderstood you–you’re absolutely right.

I would definitely look into Rivers and Tides. Check out a preview or a write-up first, to see if it sparks your interest. I thought it was magnificent.
